The name Opium Pulses comes from the merge of two popular gaming clans back in 2002 (Opium Virus and Duality Pulses). All 4 words originate from song lyrics but have grown to mean much more. Opium means to make something numb and we wanted to make OP feel like a light pulse that follows you into your games. Hence "Opium Pulses - Pulsing Through Your Games" as our slogan.
There's tons of clans and communities out there. We wanted Opium Pulses to provide services for gamers, free of charge, almost as if to make Opium Pulses the home hub of gamers' social activities. We offer announcements to keep our members up to date on the latest gaming deals, a trading service for gamers to trade their games and a giveaway area for members to win games!
We accept gamers of ALL types. Our forum was built on the idea of discussing games from every age, genre and platform. We also like to form partnerships with other small gaming communities out there and are always looking for opportunities to collaborate with other people. The founding members of Opium Pulses are from the United Kingdom, but members of our team come from all over the world, from Belgium, to Finland, to America. We're a community before anything and nothing we do is to make profit. Therefor we have friends from all over the world who feel just as passionate about Opium Pulses as we do and not just people trying to make a living.
